Greater Darwin Area

The city of Darwin, Palmerston, Howards Springs, Coolalinga, Noonamah, Humpty Doo, Fog Dam, and Gunn Point. This relaxed capital of the north provides all the conveniences of a modern city with much more adventure.

Litchfield National Park

Just an hour and a half’s drive south of Darwin you will find 1500 sq km of conservation reserve. Renowned for its waterfalls, termite mounds, natural swimming holes, and sandstone rock formations.

The Peninsula Way

The Peninsula Way encompasses Berry Springs, Dundee Beach, and Mandorah. Travel west on the Cox Peninsula Road to discover beaches, fishing, swimming holes, and local taverns.

 

Adelaide & Mary River

From Darwin travel an hour west along the Arnhem Highway and you can experience the 1300 sq km of floodplains that are fed by these rivers. Take the time to explore the roads that branch to the north and south of the highway. Jumping Crocodiles, Corroboree Billabong, Shady Camp are just some of the attractions not to be missed.

Adelaide Town To Daly River

After spending some time exploring Adelaide River Town leave the Stuart highway and head in a south-easterly direction along routes 23 and 28 for just over an hour's travel to the Daly River. Take in the sites along the way Robin Falls and some of the less accessible waterfall along the southern border of Litchfield Park. Daly River is renowned for its Barramundi fishing.

Douglas Daly

Just over two hours south of Darwin the Douglas and Daly Rivers merge to form the Daly River. Spend some time soaking in the Tjuwaliyn Hot Springs and then go exploring Butterfly Gorge, The Douglas River Esplanade, and Oolloo Crossing.
