Douglas Daly Holiday Park: Douglas Daly

Douglas Daly Holiday Park

Douglas Daly Holiday Park

Douglas Daly Holiday Park provides campsites on the banks of the Douglas River, under large, shady trees with some grass underfoot. Both powered and non-powered campsites are available as well as cabins to hire. The park is also in charge of the Douglas Daly Esplanade bush camps. The roadside café with a licensed bar and restaurant provides good hearty pub food. Ice, milk, cool drinks are on sale. Fuel station/ pups are located just in front of the café. In 1987 it was originally known as the Corn Patch Caravan Park before being renamed the Douglas Daly Tourist Park. In 2020, new owners Leanne and Tony renamed the park the Douglas Daly Holiday Park. (1)

With Family and friends, we have camped on the banks of the Douglas River in the park and we had a great time. The amenities were kept clean and the staff was very helpful. We have had dinner in the restaurant and found it to be good quality pub-style food. The powered sites are quite close together and the park is easily filled up in the dry season especially over long weekends. Booking over these periods is essential.

“You should always be aware of the risk of a saltwater crocodile attack in all Top End waterways.”
